Leadership begins with curiosity.
I believe meaningful organizational change begins with listening—not arriving with all the answers.
My experience spans executive editorial leadership, entrepreneurship, nonprofit development, organizational communications, and consulting. Working across these disciplines has taught me to connect ideas with practical needs, build relationships, and help teams move toward shared goals.
My graduate education in organizational leadership strengthened an approach already shaped by experience: lead with curiosity, listen across roles, and recognize that the people closest to the work often hold essential pieces of the solution.
Seeing Through Multiple Lenses
Every organization has its own people, processes, philosophy, and pace.
Understanding how those elements interact requires more than an outside assessment. It requires listening across roles and responsibilities, asking better questions, and creating space for people to discover opportunities together.
I see leadership as a process of facilitating understanding, building trust, and helping organizations move forward with greater clarity and shared ownership.

Résumé & Capabilities
A concise overview of my professional experience, leadership and technical capabilities, education, and additional training.
About
My education includes a BA in English: Professional & Creative Writing from Central Washington University (2016), an MA in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University, with an emphasis on change leadership, and a certificate in Integrated Business & Entrepreneurship from Spokane Community College (2012).
My professional path has not followed a single industry or corporate ladder. Editorial leadership, entrepreneurship, nonprofit development, consulting, and organizational communications have each required me to learn unfamiliar systems, earn trust, and translate ideas into workable plans. My education gave me additional tools to examine how people experience change, how organizations make decisions, and how leaders can invite others into the process. I bring that combination of practical experience, disciplined inquiry, and collaborative instinct to new challenges.
Meaningful change begins with genuine curiosity, grows through conversations that matter, and takes root through shared understanding.
