Robin
Principal Editor
Robin leads every client engagement — from the first conversation through the finished space. She brings an outside eye and a clear process to client counseling, developing the vision, editing, organizing, curating, and project and property management. Robin is the primary point of contact for all clients. Her background in organizational and change leadership and organizational includes a BA in writing and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership, with an emphasis in Change Leadership.
Eric
Project + Property Support
Eric brings hands-on project management and property maintenance experience to every engagement — including a background in wildland firefighting that informs his approach to property readiness, seasonal preparation, and recognizing conditions that require specialized attention. He handles implementation, hauling, maintenance, practical systems, and sale prep, and knows when licensed trades are needed.
The Journey to The Edited Home
The Edited Home began with something we had been doing for years: looking at a home and seeing what it could become.
Robin sees the whole—the possibilities, the points of friction, the things that matter. Eric sees how to make it work. Somewhere between those two ways of seeing, The Edited Home came to be what it s.
We believe a home should work for the people who live there—and be thoughtfully cared for when they’re away. Sometimes that means editing what has accumulated. Sometimes it’s reimagining a space or creating better systems. And sometimes it’s simply knowing a trusted someone is looking after things.
A home doesn’t need to be perfect, or minimal, or anything other than yours. We simply help you see it through a fresh lens—and care for it well.
Editing a Home for Its Next Chapter
After 26 years in our own home, preparing it for sale meant editing without erasing. We kept enough of what made it ours to give the rooms warmth and character, while simplifying what competed with the architecture, light, and flow.
This is what we mean by curation: not stripping a home bare, but knowing what to leave in place.
